The Arklow Parish Child Protection Policy is now available on this website. Click here to view this policy.
The Revival Gospel Choir will partake in Mass in SS Mary and Peter Church, Main Street, Arklow on the second and forth Sunday of every month while the Parish Folk Group will sing on the first and third Sudnays at 7.00 p.m.

Other News:
     The Annual Christmas Carol Service will be held in Sts. Mary and Peter Church on Sunday December 20th at 4pm. This is a very uplifting and joyful occasion, so come along and enjoy the afternoon.

     Christian Unity Week….January 18th to 25th 2010.
Ecumenical Service will be held in Arklow Presbyterian Church,Ferrybank on Thursday January 21st @ 8.00pm.   

There will be an outdoor crib situated on the grounds of the Church this year. A lot of voluntary work and time has gone into this project and we hope that it will give lots of joy to everyone. Please do pay a visit to the crib if you have the time.

Members of A.W.A.Y ( Arklow What About Youth) are currently rehearsing with a group of young people from Arklow who will preform “The Nativity” in Sts. Mary and Peter Church on Sunday December 20th during the 12pm mass.

The pupils from Scoil Iosagáin, Coolgreany will perform “the Nativity” after 6.30pm mass in St. David’s Church Johnstown on Saturday December 19th 2009.

A concert will take place in Arus Lorcáin on Friday December 18th at 8pm involving the Youth Choir under the direction of Geraldine Delaney and the pupils from Scoil Iosagáin, Coolgreany.

On August 18th 2011 Arklow Parish will celebrate 150 years of the dedication of the church of Sts. Mary and Peter. It is hoped that these celebrations will start on January 1st 2011 and run through until December 31st 2011. A sub-group has been set up to explore ways of how these celebrations will take place. It is hoped to involve as many people in these plans as possible.

Arklow is among one of the most compliant parishes in the Dublin Diocese in regards to Child Protection.
